Italian Translation of Ubuntu 8.04
Some useful information about the Italian translation of the Gnome version of Ubuntu Hardy Heron.
Anyone who set up Ubuntu Hardy (8.04 LTS) directly from CD, probably realizes that the interface is translated only for an half in Italian language, whereas most of menus and controls kept the English version.
In order to resolve this temporary problem, you have to digit the following command:
sudo apt-get install language-pack-gnome-it
When you finish the short installation of the package, you have to restart the computer to apply the changes.
As soon as you log in, you will have a 100% Italian Ubuntu sistem!
